From 1 Oct 2015 onwards, only mercury-free button cell batteries will be permitted to be sold in Europe.
This ruling affects Jauch batteries as well.
From 1 Oct 2015 onwards, only mercury-free button cell batteries will be permitted to be sold in Europe. The exemption for button cell batteries which hitherto were allowed to contain up to 2% mercury, will then be removed. Not only do the new mercury-free formulas protect the environment but they also comply with European law on the ban of mercury from 1 October 2015.
This ruling affects the following Jauch batteries: hearing aid batteries, watch batteries as well as alkaline button cell batteries.
With the mercury-free button cell batteries you will get top quality, state-of-the-art technology, providing stability and reliability, because all development achievements have been poured into this technology for many years now. The new button cells offer at least the same or even better performance data.
Hearing aid batteries will not just adhere to standards such as, for example, IEC norms. Proposed standards for the future, for example, requirements like the streaming and wireless capabilities of the next generation in hearing aids have already been implemented and will be documented with the Power One “Wireless Approved“ seal of quality.
We will be pleased to make you an attractive offer to test the new cell batteries. Just send us an e-mail.
